E.D.A.N character descriptions

  • Falkon: Falkon used to work in the Tech Army at TrojAn Technologies before she found out the faction was neither wholesome nor righteous. Leaving the Faction ultimately meant breaking up with Brammers and she resents him for not joining her. Working in office for E.D.A.N. has given Falkon a huge chip on her shoulder, and makes her feel like a fish out of water as she does not truly understand the role of a Faction leader. This can make her quite guarded towards her Faction members. Further frustration is added when dealing with her brother, Zane, with whom she is in constant competition.
  • Kai: Kai views E.D.A.N. as his family. He acts like the Faction's younger brother and is tolerated as such. Eager to keep up the spirits of his friends he sometimes oversteps the mark when attempting to make people laugh. Kai is an underdog and as such is always trying to do better. Adorably clumsy Kai has his heart in the right place but is often unsuccessful.
  • D.: Sweet and respectful, at first glance D. is quite easily underestimated. Her calm, quiet manner makes her a perfect candidate to reside within the E.D.A.N. HQ. However, as D. realises she has an affected gene that grants her powers inaccessible to most mankind she is forced to find her inner strength to face what lies ahead. Not one to ask for much attention D. dreams of just one person's acknowledgement and that is Kai's. An unrequited love just adds complications to her new Wildtype status.
  • Gil: Gil is highly spiritually driven and always has a happy go lucky attitude, which in the early days was much admired by her best friend Kai. Exceptionaly smart for a pure human being, Gil's talent lies in operating salvaged technology for E.D.A.N. Headstrong and driven by her faith in people she does not appreciate being left behind.
  • Liza Mullins: Liza's involvement in Faction-life is sometimes frowned upon as she emerged from one of the underground groups and has spent time selling her body on the red light district. This makes her quite light-hearted and she has a laid-back attitude towards life as she has experienced worse encounters in the past. Liza is cute and sprite-like, her sexuality has all men aquiver as they desire to protect and look after her. This is how she gets her way with most men she meets but she is much more than the innocent act she portrays. Much like her syster (Trystanne), her talent with a blade is first-class and while it looks like she is up for anything, underneath it all, she's searching for a gentleman to sweep her off her feet.
  • Zane Shadowfall: Zane's reputation is legendary. He no longer belongs to any faction and instead rebels against the entire system. He works solo, for himself and for the people without a faction to rely on. Zane has never sought competition with his younger sister and will allow her to vent her anger towards him up to a point. Family is important to him but he can't bring himself to stay with Falkon as he views her as part of the problem. Brave, gentlemanly, an exceptional fighter, and owning an unquestionable love for the unfortunate, Zane's ability to be there when he is needed is cherished throughout the world.
  • Killer: At first glance Killer seems uncaring and frivolous but this is simply a mask covering his sensitive and serious nature. Forgetful and greatly interested in self-gratification it is easy to dislike Killer for his tardiness and his constant need for women in his presence. However, he has a reputation for being the best shot for miles and his involvement is much appreciated. He is cheeky and boyish; the people he works with cannot help but forgive him his sins when he turns on the charm.
  • Trystanne: Trystanne has a dark past. Her lone wolf attitude has taken her all over the new world and everywhere she has been Trystanne has found herself becoming more anti-social. Her mysterious and aloof nature gains her much attention and her reputation for getting her own way is spread far and wide. Trystanne seems unattainable and it is that fantasy, along with her sex appeal, that she uses to her advantage. If that doesn't work she can always rely on her sword. Determined that she is okay by herself, underneath this solid facade one gets the impression that she would love to be saved.

TrojAn Tech character descriptions

  • Syntax Error: Not much can be said about Syntax's past as she cannot remember any of it. Due to this she becomes a reluctant hero, her ability to fight is new to her and certain core morals that she holds dear prevent her from feeling entirely comfortable about fighting.
  • Kira: Kira has lead TrojAn Tech all her post-cryo life. She comes from a family of leaders and as such has this delusion that she alone is worthy of ruling. As a Wildtype Kira possessses many abilities yet she has never sought help in controlling them. Because of this, she is constantly battling her inner turmoil and holding back from annihilating all existence; this would be a natural response for Kira. This life-choice has driven her slightly insane and that insanity makes her a force not to be reckoned with. Her ultimate goal: world domination, one faction at a time.
  • Chell: Eager on the side of psychotic and resembling someone on a massive sugar high Chell likes to do some serious damage to people. His bionic leg gives him a hint of an invalid's mentality which makes him a touch more sensitive than others. He does care what other people think of him, which is mostly the catalyst for his actions. The need to get involved and prove himself never seems to go away.
  • Brammers: Brammers has been in a continuous exam process since he came out of the Cryogen System. He has worked all his post-cryo life to become a Master and his belief in his Faction is rivalled only by that of his own Master, Blake. His broken relationship with Falkon has left him self-conscious with the ladies but he is a passionate master to Syntax and truly capable on the battlefield.
  • H Unit-51: "H" stands for a name he will never admit to and many jokes surround what it could be. Before H joined TrojAn Technologies he spent time causing trouble out in the wasteland, pulling his guns on anyone and everyone who he felt deserved it. TrojAn Tech gave him boundaries, which he still finds difficult to follow to this day. 51 is the lowest graded gadget on the Tech Army and as such he requires experience in the field, which is why he was teamed up with Hawklord. H aspires to be a better soldier. Not being one to think things through he acts on impulse rather than rationality and is known to be quite trigger happy. He will shoot first and ask questions later.
  • Hawklord: Hawklord originates from the amateur fighters of the wasteland and is as diplomatic as a hired hand can get. Although Hawklord understands that violence is often a necessity of living in the new world he has earned himself a reputation early on and exercises patience enough to let people realize who he is before stepping into battle. Hawklord is a lethal fighter and because of his success rate he harbours a certain confidence whenever he is entering a fight. His patience is unmatched and tested constantly by his Partner H-Unit51 who he feels responsibility for regardless of their differences.
  • Fenway: Strong willed. One of the leaders. Fenway is out to win, always, everything, whatever it takes. Partial to large weapons she is very likely to run in guns blazing without thinking things through. All that matters to her is the prize.
  • Shia: The most innocent character of the four Junkyard Dogs. Shia's looks get her through most situations. Pyrokinetic she has the ability to manipulate fire and uses it as her main weapon making her a worthy opponent, although she has been known to set the wrong person alight.
  • Hemlock: Out to live life to the fullest Hemlock is the most astute adrenaline junkie and the most dangerous. Hemlock is excited by everything that involves violence. Tycan, crime, sadomasochism...
  • Janos Blake: Janos Blake has worked for TrojAn Technologies since he emerged from the Cryogen System. He lives, eats, and breathes for his Faction. At heart he is a kind person and truly loves Brammers as family, yet he is ambitious and easily manipulated by authority. Aman who will fight for his beliefs well beyond the call of duty, be that in pursuit of recognition or redemption.

Zane Shadowfall is the outlaw of the Wasteland in Chronicles of Syntax, fighting for the side of justice indiscriminately.
Chris Holbrook plays ‘sexy lone wolf’ very well but he’s also a sweetheart and a wonderful actor to work with! Find him here

Introducing Dita Tantang as Shia. A valid member of the Junkyard Dogs, Shia is hot to handle! The actress from the original promotional shots for Primary Faction, Katie Walsh, was unfortunately not able to continue her role as Shia into the Trailer. Dita auditioned along with many others in London for the role and eventually after many trials she was successful. Dita has had quite a long relationship with Chronicles of Syntax and the rest of the cast and has known of the series for a long time. While enjoying her time working with the character she is also our most avid fan-girl.

Do you remember this fresh face? He looks so young here. Liam has been amazing bouncing between Edinburgh and Yorkshire, London and back again for Chronicles of Syntax and recordings for Primary Faction, not to mention the weeks he stayed down for the fight training. We can’t imagine anyone else who fully embodies Kai as a character.
